Here at Cardies we have some of the best skiing and snowboarding terrain in New Zealand, and it just so happens to be the classroom for the Otago Polytechnic Snowsport Instructing students!

Big cliffs, big tricks and fast runs on big mountains are no problem for one of Cardrona’s very own ski instructors. Sam Lee (21) is a Wanaka local and this year he has had some outstanding Freeride results which have set him up well for international competitions, including the Freeride World Tour.

Back to back winters, endless skiing, meeting new people and doing what you love all day! Sound like a dream job to you? Well, it’s reality for the fabulous Rachael Milner, Cardrona’s Ski & Snowboard School Manager.
