What we've got

New in 2010

  • A fourth quad chairlift!  The Valley View quad opens up even more intermediate and advanced terrain, including a downhill course.

And..

  • Newly developed racing terrain in Arcadia Basin (2009)
  • Qualified, experienced and passionate coaches
  • the longest terrain park in New Zealand
  • a new beginner park
  • a new triple jump line - safer but bigger
  • two international standard half pipes - including a 22' pipe which is FIS homologated
  • Hosted major events such as Winter Games, World Cup races and snowboard and the Burton NZ Open
  • a FIS skier/boarder cross course
  • fantastic freeriding terrain

With these facilities at our finger tips we are able to offer great training options for all freeski, snowboard and race athletes whether they want to get into the park and pipe, race skiercross, ride big mountain or improve their range of tricks and levels of intensity.

We pride ourselves on safety, while focusing on the needs and level of the athletes so that there is fun, challenge, skill development and results. We believe in developing great skiing/riding skills first and foremost and continuing this development through an athlete's career. We also believe that off-snow athlete training is a hugely important element that needs to be integrated with what is happening on snow.
