Lift Passes

A lift pass gives your child accesses the entire mountain and ALL the lifts, including the Magic Learner lifts and the Beginner platter. Generally young skiers who only need to use the beginner slopes are better off with a First-timer package .

Choose Multi Day Passes if your are planning for your children to go skiing or snowboarding at Cardrona for four or five days. Buying a Multi Day Pass is convenient and very cost effective.

“4 out of 6” Day Pass

The “4 out of 6” Day Pass creates savings over 4 days of skiing while allowing flexibility within a one-week holiday for rest and other activities. The pass is validated as customers pass through the lift stations with our automated ticketing system which means you don’t have to go back to the ticket office every day. If the pass is lost then we can alert all the lift stations and reissue a pass with the correct number of remaining days if the client keeps their receipt from issue. Multi-day passes do expire if not used within the 6-day period and are not refundable unless the mountain is closed.

“5 Day Anytime Pass”
The 5 Day Anytime Pass are best suited for someone on a longer holiday (more than one week) who wishes to be able to make savings on day pass prices yet retain maximum flexibility.

As the passes are issued in voucher form they will need to be validated daily. This process involves visiting ticketing services either in Wanaka, Queenstown or on the mountain daily to exchange the voucher for a valid day lift pass.

Wanaka 5 Day Pass
This pass enables you to ski or board any 5 days of the season at either Cardrona or Treble Cone.

Packages

Choosing a package makes a day on the slopes at Cardrona simple and easy. Cardrona offers a variety of Packages that include a Lift Pass, Rental Equipment and a Lesson to suit your child’s skiing or snowboarding ability. Our expert staff will fit your kids with the right sized equipment and specialized Kids Instructors will help them learn in a safe and fun environment.

For those who don’t require a lesson we also offer a Lift Pass & Rental Package.

First Timer Package
Specifically for children who have not skied or snowboarded before, the one day first timers package includes learners area lift pass, rental equipment and two x 2 hour beginner lessons.
Kids will have access to all mountain lifts on day two and three. On these additional days they’ll get started in the morning with a two hour lesson at 10.20am, then have the afternoon free to practice and explore.

Achievement Package
An Achievement Package is perfect if you want your child in lessons for part of the day and have them ski or ride with the family for the rest of the day.
Achievement packages include; all mountain lift pass, rental equipment and one 2 hour lesson per day. Lessons run from 10.20am to 12.20pm or 2.00pm to 4.00pm every day of the season.

Rental Equipment
Renting Equipment on the mountain is extremely convenient and great value for money. Our expert staff will fit your children with equipment that fits well. Ski hire includes boots, skis and poles. Snowboard hire includes snowboard and boots. Wristguards available free of charge with a deposit.
