Ski and Snowboard Lessons at Cardrona
Cardrona's kids' Ski and Snowboard lessons are the best way to ensure your children safely learn to enjoy the thrills and challenges of skiing and snowboarding in the mountains.
Accompanied by one of our of specialist instructors your child will be part of a supportive group environment aimed at developing their confidence and ability on the slopes as well learning hazard awareness and safe skiing etiquette.
That doesn't mean we'll be on the same old boring runs though! You'll be amazed where you see them on the mountain. Our kids groups explore all over as well as hitting our specially built terrain areas.
Cardrona has a range of ski and snowboard lesson programmes and levels designed to cater to all levels of ability, confidence and personality type.

I have never snowboarded before. |

First Turners |
I have snowboarded before but I’m not comfortable riding on both my toe and heel edges and/or not linking heel side and toe side turns down the magic carpet slope. |

2 (Blue) |
I can link both turns down the magic carpet slope, happily riding on both edges and controlling my speed. I am ready to have a try up Macdougalls chairlift. Or, I have been up MacDougalls once or twice but still not too confident and struggling with the slightly steeper terrain. |

3 (Blue) |
I have been up MacDougalls a few times, riding on both edges down the Macdougalls slope, linking both my turns most of the time though. I am having the occasional problem but generally quite happy on the slope. I just need some handy hints. |

4 (Blue) |
I find riding down Macdougalls easy and would like to progress to blue runs. Or maybe I have tried one or two blue runs and found them a bit difficult and so could do with some pointers to help with speed control/turn size/shape/confidence. |
