Ski Lift Passes

At Cardrona you can purchase a lift pass, rental, and lessons.  You can get a package which includes some or all of these products and reduces the total amount you pay.

Lift passes can be purchased as single days, multi days or season passes. Club cards can also be purchased which give discounts off lift passes as well as other winter activities in Wanaka and Queenstown.

Packages include Lift and Rental, and Lift, Lesson and Rental. First time skiers and snowboarders are looked after with the excellent value Beginner package.

A day lift pass accesses the entire mountain and ALL the lifts.

Definitions for Lift Passes:

Age: As at 1 June 2012

Student: 18+ years enrolled fulltime (minimum 32 weeks in a calendar year) with a New Zealand or Australian tertiary institution. Student ID and proof of full time status (letter from institution) is required. ID card must be in English and include a valid expiry date. ISIC cards are not accepted.  

Child: Currently attending school, 6-17 years inclusive. ID may be required.

Under 6: Children under 6 years ski for free. Please collect a complimentary ticket from the ticket office. Alternatively these children can have their own season pass for a small processing fee ($5).

65 -74 Years: 65 - 74 years of age.

75 Years+: 75 years of age or older ski for free. Please collect a complimentary ticket from the ticket office. Alternatively you can have your own season pass for a small processing fee ($5).

Half Day Passes: An 'afternoon half day' ticket is from 12.30 until 4pm, buy tickets on the mountain just before this time or at the Wanaka and Queenstown office after 11.30am. A 'morning half day ' tickets works by purchasing a full day lift ticket and returning it to the ticket office by 12.30pm for a refund on the difference.

Additional days: Additional Days are valid anytime during the 2012 season. To qualify for the additional day rate passes must be purchased in a single transaction on a single pass. 

Most major credit cards welcomed. Rates include GST.  All prices are subject to change without notice.
