Lift, Lesson and Rental Packages at Cardrona

There are two Cardrona packages available, both with lift tickets, lesson & rental equipment.

Cardrona's First Timer Package is limited by lift pass on the first day, which restricts skiers to the learner's area. The objective here is to supply everything needed to build a foundation for progress.

The Achievement Package at Cardrona provides unlimited access to the entire mountain and suits a relative novice right the way through to an experienced skier or boarder. The objectives here are to supply all the necessary elements in order to accelerate the learning curve.

If you do not want a lesson you can still take advantage of a Cardrona lift pass and rental package.

One day snowboard or ski package

Specifically for those who have not skied or snowboarded before, the one day First Timers Package at Cardrona includes learners area lift pass, rental equipment and two 2 hour group lessons.

Multi day snowboard or ski package

The Cardrona multi day First Timer Package includes lift passes, rental equipment and lessons. On the first day you will get a learners area lift pass and two lessons.
On the second and third days you have to access to all mountain lifts, you get started in the morning with a two hour lesson at 10.20am, then have the afternoon free to practice and explore.

First Timer Package vs. Achievement Package

A Cardrona First Timer Package includes a learner area pass on day one. This accesses the Cardrona learners slope, platter and learner lifts and is therefore suitable to those who have never skied or snowboarded before.

If you have skied or snowboarded for more than one day then access to the entire mountain with a Cardrona Achievement Package is the best choice for most people from day one.

Skiing is like riding a bike. You quickly remember the movements even if you only ever skied once, many years ago. Just because it's been a while doesn't mean that you will be an absolute beginner.

Bear in mind that if you can ‘stop and change direction' you are far more advanced than someone who has never skied or boarded before.

Remember: The First Timers Package at Cardrona only includes a lift pass for the learner's slopes. You can upgrade your First Timer pass to an all-mountain lift pass after 12.30pm for a fee.
