Across the board Cardrona requires customer service superstars who are willing to go the extra mile to make a guest or staff members’ day fantastic. A ‘can do’ attitude and an enthusiastic approach to life and work is equally as important as some of the skills and qualifications required. What do I need to complete my application?
What positions do you have available?On the side menu you will find a list of Mountain Positions and a little bit about each position detailing specific skills or qualifications needed. Have a good look through these and decide which position you would like to apply for. How do I apply?Please fill out our Mountain Application Form with as much detail as possible. This form will be visible only when applications open (3rd April - 14th May 2012) PLEASE ONLY APPLY ONCE. ONLY APPLICATIONS RECEIVED VIA OUR ONLINE FORM WILL BE ACCEPTED. You will be able to choose a first and second choice from the drop down menu. If you are not successful in your first choice we will pass on your second choice to the relevant supervisor for consideration. When will I know if you have my application?On successfully submitting your application you will receive an automatically generated email as a receipt. Please put the address working@cardrona.com in your address book before applying for a mountain position. This will prevent our email from going to your junk or spam box. If you do not receive an automatically generated email after submitting your application something has gone wrong and you may want to consider re- submitting your application. After close of applications, regardless of you application being successful or not, we will be in contact with you no later than Tuesday the 22nd of May 2012. If you haven’t heard from us by this date please email us. When and where will interviews take place?Interviews are held at each supervisor’s discretion and may begin shortly after applications open. They could continue through until as late as early June. What if I cannot make it to the in person interview?Each supervisor does things a little differently. Our preference is to meet you in person, however if this is not possible then the supervisor involved may make a time for a Skype or telephone interview. If I am successful with my application and gain employment; what next?If you are one of the ‘chosen ones’; congratulations!! On Sunday the17th of June we require you to join us for a ‘Welcoming and Introduction’ session. This is a compulsory session for all employees old and new. If you cannot make this session and training week your chances of securing employment is very much in jeopardy. From Monday 18th – Thursday 21st of June is training and preparation week. During these four days we familiarise you with the mountain and our business. You will be issued with a uniform, get all paper work completed and learn about health and safety policies at Cardrona. It’s a very intensive week in which you are also trained for your department specific role and begin to prep for the opening day guests. PHEW!! So... Some important dates
