Lift Passes Terms & Conditions

Definitions:

In these Lift Passes Terms and Conditions the following words have the following meaning:

“Cardrona” means Vealls (Singapore) Pte Ltd trading as Cardrona Alpine Resort.

The period of operation of Cardrona for 2012 is nominally 22 June – 7 October. The duration of the season will be subject to snow, weather and market conditions and may vary from the above dates as a result. Cardrona offers no warranty in respect of the season opening, duration of the season, operating days and/or the number of lifts and facilities operating on any day or time.

Purchasers of a Cardrona pass will be deemed to have accepted the following Terms and Conditions.

Terms and Conditions specific to Season Pass holders.

  1. All pass holders at Cardrona must abide by the snow users responsibility code. Misconduct will result in withdrawal or suspension of pass privileges. Misconduct also covers unsocial behaviour and terms expressed or implied at the resort.
  2. Carry your pass at all times. A day lift pass may be issued if a season pass holder has forgotten their pass for a fee of $20 Adult; $15 Student; $10 Child. Your season pass will be deactivated for the duration of that day.
  3. A lost or stolen pass must be reported to Cardrona immediately. A replacement pass may be re-issued at the discretion of Cardrona. A $25 fee will apply to all replacement passes.
  4. Passes are non-transferable. It may only be used by the person whose name and photograph appear on the pass. Fraudulent use of your season pass will result in confiscation of the pass and prosecution of all parties involved.
  5. Your pass can not be used for commercial purposes without the consent of Cardrona.
  6. Season passes purchased prior to the season opening will be eligible for refund until the opening day of the resort. A non–refundable fee of $100 Adult; $50 Student ; $25 Child will apply.
    Passes purchased prior to the season opening will only be eligible for refund after the opening of the season on medical grounds supported by a doctors certificate, or on compassionate grounds at the absolute discretion of Cardrona. The basis of any refund will be determined by the period from opening day or that date when the pass was collected (whichever is the later) to receipt of request for refund. No refund will be available on these passes from 1 September 2012.
    All refunds are at the absolute discretion of Cardrona. Applications must be in writing with supporting documentation. Cardrona reserves the right to increase any processing charges.

Terms and Conditions relating to all users of Cardrona passes.

  1. All users of Cardrona must have a valid pass attached.
  2. Passes remain the property of Cardrona.
  3. The pass holder uses the resort at his/her own risk.
  4. The pass holder assumes all risk of personal injury and property loss or damage.
  5. Passes are deemed to be personal to the original purchaser/user and are non-transferable.
  6. Passes are non-resalable / non-transferable.
  7. Cardrona will not accept responsibility for lost or stolen passes.
  8. The pass holder agrees to the rules, regulations and directions as expressed or implied by Cardrona.
  9. Any breach of the Terms and Conditions relating to the use of the pass by the user may result in the withdrawal of the pass and all associated privileges.
  10. Any person who uses or attempts to use the facilities at Cardrona without a valid and lawful pass and without reasonable excuse will be subject to:
    a. Prosecution and/or
    b. Requirement to purchase a valid lift pass for that day and/or
    c. A penalty of $150 and/or a Trespass notice preventing further access to the resort.

Digital Image Supply Conditions

Definitions:

In these Digital Image Supply Conditions the following words have the following meaning:

“Cardrona” means Vealls (Singapore) Pte Ltd trading as Cardrona Alpine Resort.

No images supplied by Cardrona may be reproduced in any form without the express permission of Cardrona. Any breaches of copyright will be pursued under International Copyright law.

Standard Terms & Conditions

Any images supplied to you in digital form are subject to the following conditions. Please acknowledge receipt of this digital image by return email or fax +64 3 443 8818. Accepting delivery of this digital image implies agreement with the following conditions:

  1. Cardrona will be supplying/making accessible digital images to your site during the 2012 winter. These images are supplied for use in promoting or illustrating Cardrona or for your own personal (non-commercial) use.
  2. Images used commercially must comply with all of the clauses below this one.
  3. Permission for commercial publication must be sought from Cardrona before use.
  4. These digital images may not be copied, projected, re-scaled outside of the original proportions supplied.
  5. Digital images & the copyright governing them at all times remain the exclusive property of Cardrona
  6. Additional distribution or printing or use in any other context requires prior written consent from Cardrona.
  7. No alteration, modification, distortion, addition to (including overprinting by text or other Photographic Works) or subtraction from any of the digital images is permitted without prior written consent from Cardrona.
  8. All images must be accompanied by an adjacent credit line acknowledging the copyright as well as “Cardrona Alpine Resort” or the “photographer’s name” as supplied by Cardrona.
  9. You (the original recipient) cannot sell-on Cardrona digital images.
  10. Any variation to any of these conditions must be agreed to by Cardrona in writing.

Any breach of these conditions knowingly permitted by you which results in damage to the professional reputation or copyright of Cardrona, entitles Cardrona to compensation from the Client for that damage in addition to any other remedies available to Cardrona.
