We officially opened yesterday and thousands of skiers and snowboarders were up here to enjoy the perfect snow and weather conditions... talk about a superb start to the 2009 ski season!

Our most faithful customers were queuing before for the first lift at 9.00am yesterday morning , chomping at the bit to get fresh tracks, ride groomed trails and get amongst the pristine snow conditions. First on the chair were rewarded with a bottle of Lindauer bubbles.

It was a buzz to see so many smiling faces up here - we couldn't have hoped for a better start for the season ... BRING IT ON!

Just had 3 superb days up at Cardies, no wind, no lift lines, blue skies and great snow on and off trail. Lovely. My daughter loved the mini terrain park set up at McDougalls. Here's to a great start and even better to come.

Christ!!! they must have lowered the standards down there in New zealand, that guy on the left is a Certified Organic Hoser from Nelson, BC, Canada....Quite a Ripper but in no way is that a Fair-Trade
