New Adaptive Head Coach for 2012

We are excited to announce we have a new Head Coach.

Jane has a huge amount of National and International experience, including being the Head Coach for the NZ Paralympic team at the 2006 Paralympics in Torino. She then went onto being the Head Coach of the Great Britain Disabled team at the Paralympics in Vancouver 2010.

Adaptive Race Training Program

What is it? Complete and intensive race coaching for performance and competition focused athletes.

Who for? Athletes who are registered as having a level of disability that has been assessed in to a classification. And who are competing or wish to compete in Alpine Racing.

The commitment: 3 sessions per week* Mon - Weds

Start date: 2nd July 2012
End date: 19th September 2012

Total weeks: 12 weeks

Price: NZ$3630

Price includes:

• On snow training
• Video analysis
• Basic dry land activities
• Uniform

• Strength & physical conditioning
• Airport transfers
• Event entry, travel and lift passes at other mountains

Eligibility:
All athletes must currently belong to a ski club, hold a current Ski Racing New Zealand licence. Fit in to the IPC classification rules.

Equipment requirements:

• Slalom and Giant Slalom skis (FIS Homologated)
• Helmet - compulsory for all training and racing
• Slalom protection
