Nursery

The Nursery is one of Cardrona’s icensed Early Childhood Education Centre that caters for our youngest snow lovers. The Nursery has places for up to 10 little ones aged under two years - 3 months. Your children need to bring their own lunch (morning and afternoon tea is provided), bottles, nappies and a change of clothes. We also recommend sending them along with a favourite toy or blanket to help with the settling in process.

Upon arrival at the Nursery your child will be given a locker for their bag and each parent/caregiver must fill out a form "My Child's Day in the Nursery" - this gives the staff the information to ensure your child has a happy day e.g. sleep time, bottle time, favourite toys and activities etc.

If possible, please provide your child's Immunisation Certificate. Children who are not Immunised are welcome to use the Nursery - please inform us upon registration. It is a requirement of our Early Childhood License to keep an Immunisation Register.

Kindy

The Kindy is located in the “Nursery”, Cardrona’s original licensed Early Childhood Education Centre. Kindy is perfect for two – four year olds who prefer an indoor education programme rather than a skiing experience. The Kindy has very limited spaces so bookings are essential. Please click on the Booking & Enrolment Form in the table below for a downloadable PDF.

Your children need to bring bottles, nappies/pull ups and a change of clothes. We also recommend sending them along with a favourite toy or blanket to help with the settling in process.

Upon arrival at the Pre-School your child will be given a locker for their bag and each parent/caregiver must fill out a form "My Child's Day in the Pre-School" - this gives the staff the information to ensure your child has a happy day e.g. sleep time, bottle time, favourite toys and activities etc.

At the Pre-School all food is provided (morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea). If your child has special dietary requirements or has food allergies please send them along with a lunchbox. Please check with the Head Teacher upon arrival. If possible, please provide your child's Immunisation Certificate. Children who are not Immunised are welcome to use the Kindy - please inform us upon registration. It is a requirement of our Early Childhood License to keep an Immunisation Register.

Ski Kindy

The Ski Kindy is a Licensed Early Childhood Centre for three & four year olds. The Ski Kindy provides an educational programme along with a ski experience. Your child will usually be provided with one ski lesson each day. Additional lessons can be purchased if your child is energetic and bubbling with enthusiasm. Childcare & Under 5s Private Lesson

Each child usually has one 60 minute private ski lesson each day. Additional lessons can be purchased if the child is energetic and enthusiastic. The Under 5s private ski lesson is a personalised confidence-building introduction to skiing. It allows your child to develop positive snow skills, 1 on 1 experience with a professional instructor. Ski equipment is supplied for the duration of the session at no charge.

Under 5s Group Lesson

For children that are ready for learning with others and want more skiing we recommend the under 5s group lesson option. This is best suited for mature four year olds. Under 5s group lessons provides 3 hours of lessons, usually 2 hrs in the morning and 1hr in the afternoon, depending on weather and the children’s energy levels. This is a group situation with a minimum of 2 and maximum of 3 children, the same age and same level. This amount of snow time will ensure your child is well on the ski progression path. Again ski rental equipment is supplied at no charge for the duration of the lessons.
