Workshop & Repairs

Get your gear riding smooooth as, with a visit to the Cardrona Workshop, your one-stop shop for ski and snowboard repairs and services.

Tony and his team of gurus offer some of the most advanced tuning services in New Zealand.

Equipped with a state-of-the-art Crystal Magic Montana Ski Tuning Robot, we have hundreds of customisable patters to choose from for your ride. The possibilities seem endless!

From freeride or park to World Cup-ready gear, the team can tune, repair and service anything you bring in, all in a day’s turnaround.

Or book in for infrared waxing. This process allows maximum wax absorption and retention along the ski/board, resulting in higher quality wax, longer life on the slopes, and faster and healthier gear.

Meet Cardrona's workshop team leader

Cardrona Alpine Resort Ski Snowboard Workshop Tony James

Tony James is a guru with over 20yrs of experience at Cardrona alone! So it’s fair to say he knows the mountain, the workshop, and his way around a ski or snowboard like the back of his hand.

After working in Japan, Austria, the USA, and Canada, and mentorship with some of the most well-respected international industry experts, including Ryan McDermott (Mono Cera, USA) & Takeshi Nakahara (Bontak, Japan), Tony has refined his workshop skills.

He has trained the workshop crew to ensure your equipment is in safe, wax-stained hands. But don’t take our word for it - pro riders like Will Jackways have been taking their hardware to Tony for years!
