Ride in a gondola cabin on the McDougall's Chondola to the top of the mountain! McDougall's runs every day of the summer season so everyone can experience & explore our incredible alpine environment.
From the top of McDougall's there's so much to do & see – with incredible views everywhere you look, it's the perfect place for a spot of photography! You can pop up to the Skyline viewing platform for even better views of the Southern Alps, take a walk back down to Base or go for a more strenuous hike on the Captain's Circuit. If walking's not your thing, you can get back into a gondola cabin & ride back down to Base that way.
Grab a bite to eat, a delicious coffee, full lunch meal, craft beer, or a drop from the Real Journeys wine list at The Lounge before you head up the gondola or when you come back down to Base. They've even got outdoor giant games (Jenga, dominoes, quoits!).
Absolutely anyone can ride in a gondola cabin, so come on up for a whole new alpine experience at Cardrona this summer!
