We're at that time of year again – it's the October school holidays & the SSNZ Freestyle Junior Nationals at Cardrona this coming week!
We've had another mega week up at Cardrona, with almost every kind of weather thrown at us. It snowed most of Monday (with an hour-long break for fresh turns in the morning), the wind decided to say "What's up?!" on Wednesday, & we had blue sky days towards the end of the week!
We're back into school holidays next week, & we're kicking it off in style with the Snow Sports NZ Freestyle Junior Nationals from Monday to Thursday. This long-standing event is definitely one to check out –come see the country's best youngsters battle it out for the national titles!
It could be a bit more of a mixed bag for the next few days, with sun, wind & snow all in the forecast according to Snow-Forecast.com...
Tomorow (Saturday) is the first Ngā Wāhine ō te Maunga - "Women of the Mountain" event. There's still time to sign up to be a part of an awesome event for a great cause!
