Make life simpler & hire your rental equipment & clothing with Cardrona! We have a huge range of the latest ski & snowboard gear for a great day out in our three rental locations – in Queenstown, Wanaka & on the mountain. Rent skis & snowboards including twin tips, Burton Learn to Ride snowboards, performance skis & beginner skis at Cardrona.

Why Rent?

• Flexibility! You don’t have to travel with heavy equipment if you hire on the mountain
• You can change boots & skis any time throughout the day
• Our equipment is well maintained with the latest automated tuner
• Rental is available in value packages, resulting in greater savings
• You can take the equipment to surrounding mountains in the Southern Lakes & return it to our offices in either Wanaka or Queenstown when you are finished (conditions apply)

What’s Included?

• Skis, boots & poles or snowboard, boots & wrist guards
• Clothing is either jacket or pants, or both
• Accessories bundle includes jacket, pants, helmet, goggles, & gloves (which you get to keep). All of these items are available to rent separately 

* Performance rentals available for a $15 upgrade per day. Walking snow boots can be hired for $15 per day.

Rental Hints & Tips

• Single layer sporting socks which reach up your upper calf work well in boots
• Avoid socks with high cotton content and ribbing or seams as these create pressure points
• Keep all extra clothing (pant legs) OUT of the top of the boot to avoid chafing
• Dress in layers so you can easily adjust to temperature changes

Terms & Conditions

Identification is required for all rental. You will need to provide a credit card (preferable), passport or drivers licence. Failing this, a fully refundable cash bond will be held until equipment is returned.
