First Timers - Kids & Adults

Never been on skis or a snowboard? Make your first day as easy as possible at Cardrona with our First Timer packages for kids and adults!

With facilities like our Learner Conveyor tunnel, a Beginners’ Area close to our Base, gentle learner runs, a dedicated Kids’ Conveyor, and of course our amazing Snow Sports School, there’s no better place to learn to ski or snowboard!

Cardrona’s First Timer packages are a great introduction to the sport and are the most cost-effective way to learn how to ski or snowboard. Our First Timer lesson packages include Beginners’ Area lift passes, rental equipment and lessons. First Timer packages are for people who have NEVER EVER been on snow before.

We have separate Adult and Child First Timer lessons, starting and finishing at the same time. Private lessons are also available for First Timers – please book in advance.

First Timer lessons run from 10.30am - 3.45pm, with a 45min lunch break at 1pm.

Please allow plenty of time to be fitted with your ski or snowboard rental equipment before the lesson starts – aim to be at the Lesson Meeting Area 10mins before your lesson. Kids’ First Timer lessons are ages 5–14yrs for ski & 7–14yrs for snowboard.
