The final event for our snow sports athletes to gather from around the country and claim the overall freestyle titles

Location: Cardrona Alpine Resort
Event Description: The NZ Freestyle National Champs has been held at Cardrona for over three decades. This Winter the event is scheduled over five days which includes a weather day. The NZ Freestyle Nationals awards New Zealand National Champion Titles for skiers and snowboarders. For 2024, disciplines include Ski and Snowboard Cross, Slopestyle and Half Pipe. The Open Division (FIS) will include a Big Air event. Junior age divisions (U8-U16) will compete in a Rail Jam. The NZ Freestyle Nationals schedule concludes with an after party and overall awards at Apres in Wanaka.
