The Piki Maunga Rangatahi is a fun Big Mountain comp for youth-aged skiers & snowboarders wanting to get into freeride.

Piki Maunga Rangatahi is a Big Mountain Freeride competition for kids 15 and under, hosted on our Cardrona Black and Double Black Slopes. All Competitors get to inspect the slope prior establishing a line and dropping in. The judges will be looking at line choice, power and control with points deducted for crashes and loss of control. This event showcases the up-and-coming ski & snowboard free ride talent in the region and medals are awarded for podium places.
