All In

We're making the mountain an accessible, supportive, and safe place for all communities.

Cardrona and Treble Cone are committed to supporting, giving exposure to, and equitably representing all communities of the mountain, creating an inclusive environment for all.

What started with our commitment to equitable gender representation in our media, along with our 2022 documentary “All In”, has grown to become an all-encompassing continuous support and encouragement for all communities.

What we're doing now

  • Holding ourselves accountable for equitable representation of women in our marketing media, and challenging others to do the same
  • Running an annual women’s event ‘Ngā Wāhine ō te Maunga’ (Women of the Mountain) to develop their skiing or snowboarding in a supportive environment
  • Running adaptive programmes, supporting people with physical, sensory and cognitive impairment
  • Offering discounted passes and lessons to adaptive guests
  • Partnering with Snow Sports New Zealand to be the home of the NZ para-alpine Snowsports team
  • Hosting the Special Olympics races at Cardrona
  • Proudly gold supporters of the pride pledge, hosting Winter Pride events and ensuring we hold rainbow training for our staff

What we'll be doing in the future

  • In Winter 2023, we added “All In” as a pillar of the Cardrona Foundation, which will enable us to fundraise to support and represent different communities.
  • This will include giving more adaptive athletes access to the mountain and skiing in a supportive environment.
  • Our Winter 2023 film edit showcasing the adaptive skiers at Treble Cone will donate $1 for every ‘like’ of the film to the Halberg Foundation and the Cardrona Adaptive Programme to help adaptive snow sports families.
  • We’re aiming to reach 5000 likes, and will donate up to $5000
  • We want to be able to continue to make the mountain a safe and supportive place for all communities
We’ve paired up with the Halberg Foundation to support fundraising for more adaptive skiers to access the mountains. Help us on our mission to make the mountains for everyone. With every ‘like’ the edit gets, we’ll donate $1 to the Halberg Foundation, and to Cardrona adaptive programmes. We’ll donate up to $5,000.
