Cardrona What's On: End of Season

What a fantastic Winter Season it's been! Read on to find out about our fun and final send-off this weekend.

What a winter we've had, and it's all thanks to you, our awesome guests, returning or visiting for the first time, welcoming back both locals and overseas travellers. We saw a record amount of snow, skiers/snowboarders challenging themselves and learning new skills, and super fun events returning to the slopes after a Covid hiatus. Speaking of, our Jossi Wells Invitational recap video landed! A perfect watch to remember one of the best bits of the season:

Don't forget to get prepared for summer with the Hero Pass, in collaboration with our mates at Bike Glendhu. Riding two mountains all summer, with one pass. Learn more about it here.

Weather Forecast

Spring is attempting a comeback this week, as we saw some sunny bursts and cloud, clearing to bluebird skies today. The final weekend is throwing one last curveball and may contain light rain on Sunday, with highs of 6, and lows of 2 degrees. Be prepared for a mixed bag!

Fire up the Snow Report from 6.30am daily to see what conditions are doing each day - we don't have our usual morning Facebook reports but will still be updating the website!

Events

This weekend, the closing show is ON. The event's called 'The Fun Never Stops', and we can guarantee it won't. We're hosting a ski/ snowboard, transitioning into a mountain bike, race from the top to the bottom of the mountain - finishing at the Cardrona Hotel. Pies will also be, as traditional, thrown into the mix. Check out more info and hilarious pics from previous years here.

Congrats to all the winners at the Minipipe World Champs last weekend and all those who turned up for a good time. Always an epic spectacle, it didn't disappoint on the visuals.

Terrain Parks

What a season the Terrain Parks Crew have had! This is a big shout-out to the builders and shaping crew for making amazing set-ups and keeping things sweet all season. Make sure you sample their hard work one last time this weekend! Currently, with 6 parks, 27 jibs, 10 jumps, 2 half pipes and a Hip built this week in lower Antlers Alley... it's the biggest set-up we've ever had for the closing week!

Food & Beverage

A big thanks from our F&B team to all of you for your patience and understanding this season! Our offering looked a bit different this year, but it was still super delicious and we're stoked we got to serve you all this winter. See you next year!
