Cardrona What's On: Winter Games NZ is coming!
Next week we're kicking off the Winter Games NZ at Cardrona – we can't wait to check out all the action on the mountain!
We had a great couple of days of competition for the Spy Optics NZ Freestyle Open/Rookie Fest yesterday and today, and that was a great warm-up for what's coming up next week... the start of this year's Winter Games NZ!!
Some news outlets are predicting "another weekend of rotten weather", and we know the real truth: what comes with the rest of the country's bad weather down low is some good snow up in the mountains! So check out the weather forecasts for the next few days below and hang out on our Snow Reports Facebook group to see what comes of a handful of storms over the next few days.

A massive congratulations to all the Kiwis who competed in this week's Spy Optics NZ Freestyle Open/Rookie Fest, especially the ladies Ruby Andrews and Cardrona Team snowboarder Cool Wakushima who both placed second overall!
The first Winter Games NZ event on the mountain is next weekend – the FIS Snowboard Big Air World Cup! A massive good luck to all the Kiwis and Cardrona Team members competing; we'll keep you up to date on the rest of the events up here over the next couple of weekly blogs.

We've got a full slopestyle course going on in Big Bucks, the halfpipe is getting heeeeaps closer, and there's a HUGE pile of snow ready to start pushing the Big Air... the North Face Cardrona Parks Crew have been working their tails off to get everything ready for Winter Games NZ!
